Anna donated and believed in charity and helping out for a good cause as she faithfully donated to St. Judes children’s fund for years. In 2012 she was awarded by the NAACP for being a member of the “village” that contributed to the black presence in the community. She had a kind soul and was a God-fearing woman that left a lasting impression on all she met. “Miss Gordon or “Miss Ann” as she was addressed always had a host of visitors coming by to say hello no matter her age. “Miss Ann” always kept her nails and hair done along with a smile.
