Obituary

Courtney Alwine-38 of Johnstown passed away on November 22, 2020, at her home in Johnstown. Born on February 28, 1982 in Johnstown.  Preceded in death by; Grandfather Cal Penrod, Grandmother Louise Alwine, Aunt Barbara Karsaba, and Aunt Pamela Alwine.  Survived by; Mother Kathleen Alwine, Father David Alwine- Passmore (Joe), Sister Kayla Alwine, Daughters Kara, Arieonna, and Zoey Alwine, Grandson Kamden Stephens, Nephews Rashaun Jr., Julius, Kaysen Puryear and special aunts; Carol Schalles and Diana Sager. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was previously an employee at Bakers Loaf, enjoyed spending quality time with her daughters and grandson and loved her family dearly. Courtney enjoyed going for walks, loved shopping, and doing crafts with her girls. She took pride in being a person that was a listening ear. She wore her heart on her sleeve, enjoyed laughing and telling jokes and most of all would give her last if you needed it. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.  A viewing will be held on Sunday Nov. 29 at 2pm until time of her funeral service at 6pm at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to the funeral home for her funeral expenses.  Please wear your mask and social distancing required.  Email condolences to moskal-reidfuneralhome.com
