Rogers, Doris Bush (83) of Johnstown, Humbly accepted Gods call to come home to glory on October 28, 2020. Born on January 6, 1937, Daughter of William and Myra Leslie Bush. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles A. Rogers, daughter Doris A. Fields, son-in-law Horace Fields and siblings William, Leslie, Russell, Thelma Bush, Iris Smith and Mally Mangum. She is survived by her children Debra, Alexander (Missy), Sharon, Condis and Sabrina. Grandchildren Christine Bush, Thalia Osei(Nana), Tashianna Kwakye(Kofi), John Gordon(Chrystal), Wilson Smith (Shelena Hockenberry), Lorraine Bush-Lauver (Michael), Alexander Jr., Shaneisa Smith-Magambo (Eric), Jennifer Bush, Andre Bush, Gregory Bush, Marquita Bush-Howard (John Jackson), Trevon Haskins. 21 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. God-sons Harvey Rowe(Tomiko) and Blake Griggs. Her beloved sisters Edith Bush, Emma Mangum and Etta Coleman. Brother-in-law Henry Mangum. Daughter in Christ Quaretta Scott. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was one of the “Church mothers” and a lifetime member of Jefferson Memorial First Born Church. God and family was everything to her and she will be greatly missed by all. At Doris’s request there will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers she asks that donations be made to the Pastors Aide Committee, which she presided over. Her Home Going Service will be on Wednesday November 4, 2020 at 1pm at Jefferson Memorial First Born Church of the Living God 325 William Penn Ave., Bishop Joseph McGauley officiating. Moskal-Reid Funeral Home is in Charge of Arrangements. Masks are required for the Service.
