Dorothy A. (Kedzuch) 95, Johnstown, died May 16, 2023 at Laurelwood Care Center. She was born on May 12, 1928 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Mikel and Kathyrn (Sopko) Kedzuch. She was preceded in death by her parents. Husband Fred "Foxie" Savering, who died in 2006, sisters Catherine Kemanc, Anna (Frank) Popovich, Julia "Juju" (Pete) Dudukovich, Mary (John "Spotty") Spodienok, Helen (Stanley "Pouzum) Twardzak, Margaret Kedzuch and brother John Kedzuch. Dorothy was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her son Michael, married to Mary Ann (Horbal), grandson Andrew married to Erica (Davis), great grandchildren Ian, Emma, and Kassidy. Great Grandson AJ married to Emily (Strouse) and great great grandson Jackson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. Dorothy was employed as a floor lady at Kay Artley and then a seamstress at Bestform Cambria City. Dorothy enjoyed her duck pin bowling with all her bowling buddies (which she was very good at). While she was still able, Dorothy was always reciting her rosary. She was a member of the former St. Stephens Roman Catholic Church now Resurrection Parrish. Dorothy faithfully watched mass every Sunday until she could no longer see and then would listen to the mass from St. John Gualbert. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Proclaim TV (In memory of Dorothy) which broadcast the Sunday Mass, and/or Resurrection Parrish. Thank you to her second family, the Laurelwood Angels who took care of Dorothy and Providica Hospice for their understanding and compassion. Viewing is Saturday May 20th at 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am, Father Gulash presiding at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home 79 J st. Johnstown, PA 15906. Private interment will be at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
