Triplin, Jaqueline Renee 60, 987 Bedford Street, Johnstown, died December 26, 2020, at home. Born December 18, 1960, in Johnstown, PA., daughter of John O Triplin, Jr and the late Gwendolyn Triplin-Carter. Survived by her children: Apostle Desmond J Triplin (Aletha) and Gwendolyn A Msolomba. Siblings: Devin; Rev Antoinette Allen, Martin (Janice), John (Mona), Darla (Reginald), the late Clifton (Bugga) Carter (the late Phyllis), Lucy and Libby. Grandchildren: Stephon, Dezalyn (aka Princess), Jaylon; great-granddaughter Ellianna and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Best friends Antoinette Carter and Dana Blaine; adopted daughter Jessica Pulliam. Jacqueline was a 1978 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. She was a Deacon, Administrative Assistant and Liaison for the elderly at Works of Deliverance International Ministries. Jacqueline was employed for 33 years at Community Action Partnership holding numerous positions. She was a certified CASA caseworker and worked at the Mary and Martha House. She served her community by volunteering in many civic capacities such as counting the homeless, voter registration, Jackie was the matriarch of Kulani (West African Dance) as a drummer. Her favorite Scripture is Hebrews 11:1 Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not scene. God gave Jackie the gift of spiritual laughter which was full of Praise and Worship of the Most High God. Her laughter made others laugh in honor of Jesus Christ. Family was especially important to Jackie as she loved spending time with her children, grandkids, siblings and was especially proud of being a great-grandmother.
Public viewing Saturday, January 2 from 10am until 12 noon. We will practice social distancing, masks are required. Private family Home-going service at 12:30pm. Christ Centered Community Church, Rev Sylvia J King, Senior Pastor, Officiating; Apostle Arthur Hardison, Eulogist. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery, Moskal-Reid Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Homegoing service will be streamed on Facebook live. The event is called “Homegoing Service for Jackie Triplin.”
