Tomko, (Fetsko) Michalene M.(83) of Johnstown passed away January 4, 2021, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital due to a lengthy Non-COVID-19 related illness. Born September 19, 1937, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Lotoczky) Fetsko. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the Reverend Albert P. Tomko; her sisters, Elizabeth Radasky and Ileen Kush; and her brother, Michael J. Fetsko, Sr... Survived by her beloved daughter, Paula M. Tomko, Johnstown; fur babies, Maggie and Dexter; and grand cat, Maddie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Michalene graduated from Greater Johnstown High School Class of 1955 and Edinboro University Class of 1959. She was retired from Conemaugh Township Area School District, where she taught fifth and sixth grade for 30 years. She was a lifelong member of Christ the Savior Cathedral. During her retirement, Michalene enjoyed having lunch with her friends at Press Bistro, attending Silver Sneakers classes at the YMCA, and going on adventures with her sisters, daughter, and nieces. Friends and Family will be received on Sunday January 10, 2021 from 1 to 4 p.m. Moskal – Reid Funeral Home, 79 J Street were Panachida will start at 3pm. A viewing followed by a Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Moskal – Reid Funeral Home. The Very Rev. Protopresbyter Father Frank Miloro celebrant.
