Odessa Hall, passed away peacefully at her home on January 30, 2021.
Born 6/30/1937 in Midway, AL. Daughter of Alonzo Hall, Sr. and Anne (Williams) Hall. Preceded in death by parents, son Stacy Hall, and beloved siblings; sisters, Lola Reviere, Willie Mae Seals and brother Frank Hall. Survived by her sister Wilma King and Alonzo Hall, Jr. Her 4 children; Barbara, Gary, Troy and Monica Hall, her 10 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews ,cousins and friends.
Odessa was employed by JP Murtha Car Wash, Gordon’s Funeral Home and later in life returned to work as a “Grandma” for the Greater Johnstown School District, which was one of her most proudest endeavors.
Family and friends are invited to a public viewing held at Shiloh Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11:00am to 1:00pm. The funeral service will be held immediately after the public viewing at 1:00pm at Shiloh Baptist Church. Rev. Theodore Tisinger officiating. Interment will Benshoff Cemetary. Moskal-Reid Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
