Thelma Louise Brandon ( 87) of Johnstown, transitioned to eternal life October 18, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born December 20, 1932 in Clayton, Alabama, daughter of Albertine and John Hoffman. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald Brandon to whom she was happily married for 50 years. Also preceded in death by her son Harold Hoffman Sr. Survived by brother, F. Douglas Hoffman, daughters Roselyn A., Pamela Y., sons Irvin C. (Betty), Van F. (Robin), Todd A. (Joyce), Dion M, and lifelong friend Shirley Young. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Thelma was employed by Community Action for 35 years. She was a 4-H leader for many years. After retirement she worked with Senior Employment Agency for 4 years. She was a kind, loving woman, who loved her family dearly. Instilled lasting life values for her family and welcomed everyone into her home. Always saw the best in everyone.
Family and friends will be received Friday October 23,from 4-7 PM and from 10 Am Saturday until time of her Private Homegoing Service at 11 AM at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home. Rev.Artrell Hawkins, Jr. officiating. Masks and social distancing required. Committal Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
