Thomas "Pete", 83, was called peacefully to be with the Lord on January 5, 2022. Born February 19, 1938 in Coopersdale, he was the son of Leslie Blair Ribblett and Estella Gertrude Boring. Preceded in death by parents; brothers and sisters Melvin, Gerald, Goldie, and Lois; and granddaughter Marissa. Survived by beloved wife of 63 years, Beverly Ribblett; sister, Barbara Keyser, and sister-in-law Barbara Knecht; daughters Kim (Jay) Kycko, Sandi (Mike) Swintosky, Amy (Donnie) McIntosh, and son Jeff (Janine) Ribblett. Grandchildren, Mindy, Scott (Cherub), Alicia, Luke, Adam, Danielle (Patrick), Haley (Matt), Mitch, Mike, Maranda (Jessica), and Malorie; Great grandchildren, Elijah, Helena, Oakley, Havanna, Damirr, Addy, Callisi, Arya, Austin, Mila and Ella. Pete was a veteran of the Navy and a member of Albright United Methodist Church. At Albright, he enjoyed being a youth fellowship leader and a basketball coach. He worked as a steelworker for 46 years at North American Hoganas (Glidden). He loved bowling and was a loyal Steelers fan, Go Steelers! Pete's greatest enjoyment was family. From camping, picnics, and sporting events, he was our number one fan. He touched all of our hearts and will be greatly missed. Heavens gain is our loss, rest easy, Pap. We love you. A viewing will be held on January 8, 2022 from 1-7 pm with a service at 7 pm. Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, 79 J St. Johnstown, Pa 15906, will proved professional services to the family. At the family's request, masks will be worn during the viewing and service for the entirety of your stay.
