Obituary

Tracie Michelle Williams transitioned to eternal life, Thursday, June 9, 2022, at home in Johnstown,
PA. Born to the marriage of Terry L., Sr. and Anita (Crosby) Williams on December 13, 1991. She was
preceded in death by her father, Terry L. Williams, Sr., paternal grandmother Virginia Williams,
maternal grandfather Maxie J.L. Crosby, aunt, Sylvia Williams-Cashaw and nephew, Kingston George
Williams.
Tracie was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Senior High School and held various customer service
positions since graduation. Tracie was blessed with the gift of liturgical dance; she danced with the
passion of David--her spirit and soul were totally engaged with God when she danced. She also sang in
the choir growing up under the direction of her very special uncle, Devon Haselrig and just always
liked to sing in general. Tracie was kind, vivacious, and a friend to all. She will be sadly missed by all
who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory: son, A’vier Williams (Jeffrey Ivory), daughter, Zaria Coleman (Jonah
Coleman); mother, Anita (Crosby) Williams; siblings Tyrell (Brandy-fiance), Travis (twin), and Tre’von
of Johnstown, Terry, Jr. (Kennitra) of Mississippi, Tierra of California; paternal uncles Donell Williams,
Willie Williams, Jr. (Emily), and paternal aunt DeSundera Faison (Roland). Paternal grandfather, Willie
Williams, Sr. and maternal grandmother Delores Haselrig-Crosby. Aunt/Godmother, Deborah Johnson
(Denny), godmother, Genora Gosha and special uncle, Gregory Jones. She is also survived by a host of
other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially her longtime best friend Toccara
Thomas-Smith.
Friends and family will be received Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Moskal-
Reid Funeral Home, 79 J Street, Johnstown, PA 15906 and Monday, June 20, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. until
time of Homegoing Service at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 205 Peelor St., Johnstown, PA
15901.
