1 Tree, Flower, or Condolence has been shared with support of Veronica's family - View on Tribute Wall
Veronica passed away peacefully on December 29, 2022. She was born on October 5, 1923 to Vasil and Helen (Belichak) Hronchak.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers John, George, Paul, and Basil "Bill", sisters Lt. Col. Mary Connoly, USAF and Helen Leedom, as well as her sister-in-law Nadine (Ball) Hronchak and her beloved family dogs Keyser and Bear.
Veronica graduated from the Armagh-East Wheatfield High School in 1941. She retired after 30 years of service from I. Hirst Enterprises, a theatre chain in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. She returned to the family farm after retirement to care for her family. She became an avid gardener and loved caring for the many dogs she rescued from the animal shelter.
She wants to extend a special thanks to her dear family friends Randy and Linda Rensko who helped her in so many ways. They were truly a "God Send" and often went above and beyond the call to help her. Also a heart felt thanks to the Allegheny Lutheran Home of Johnstown for the special care provided by the staff for the last few years.
A service is scheduled for Tuesday January 3, 2023 at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home, 79 J St. Johnstown, PA 15906 at 10:00am, the Very Reverend Protopresbyter Robert Buczak, celebrant and committal at Grandview Cemetery immediately following.
